I just found out from the owner that they'll likely be closing at the end of this month, which would be a huge loss for our community. This takeout spot serves some of the best Persian food around, and I was blown away by their chicken koobideh. Normally I'm a beef fan but this chicken was so flavorful and juicy that it win me over! Plus the prices are fantastic, especially for Persian cuisine, which can be pricey elsewhere. If you love great food and want to support local business, now's the time to stop by and show your support! Let's keep Papa's Kabob in our community!

On the corner of Magnolia and Trask is the BEST Persian food/Armenian dishes that you will find with the kindest owner who deserves this place to do well!! This is not a fancy place but that doesn't matter. It was clean and open. There is a patio too if you want. I don't generally Highly recommend places but this is a MUST. My family and I will definitely be coming back when we are in town. The prices are reasonable for the good fresh quality of food. We had the chicken kabob and beef shish kabob with 2 appetizers the hummus, and the cheese plate plus the yogurt. All of it was amazing!! We went twice while in town for dinner and lunch.

Papa is so cute and humble. Felt like I was visiting a family member and not a restaurant. Food was really good and he gave great service. Chicken kabob was my favorite. we had the chicken Koobideh, beef koobideh and chicken kabob. We will be back to try the lamb he recommended.

Was waiting for my car to be serviced across the street and got hungry. I'm pretty sure the person who took care of me was the owner. Very nice, let me know how long it would take for a to go order (and it was ready sooner). Place looked clean. Kebab was great!

What a great way to end the day... amazing Mediterranean food with great friends. Who would've known this spot packed a punch that's layered with authentic flavors. From the garlic sauce to the house made chili paste... I can't say it enough... you have NEVER had this type of flavor. We smothered our food with every bite. The kabobs were juicy and they were generous with the portions, and wow the lamb chops hit home. I definitely recommend... sorry you HAVE to come and try this place!! You will NOT be disappointed!

Absolutely a hidden gem! The decor is minimal and seating is limited, but don't let that deter you -- this place deserves a shot. Papa is kind, generous, and charming and he's running to different parts of the restaurant to make sure everyone's getting taken care of. While the menu only has a few options, the quality of the food is amazing! My partner and I got the following: Beef shish kabob (4/5) Yogurt with shallots (5/5) Hummus (4/5) Chicken kabob (5/5) Our total for the 4 items was around $41, including tax. I definitely want to come back and try the lamb, papa's favorite, and the crispy rice. Highly recommend!

Every time i come to Westminster always pass papas kabobs. Today i decided to finally check it out and so impressed! The lamb chop was not gamey, perfectly cooked and so moist! The boneless chicken skewers were also moist!!!! Yogurt with cucumber and dill garnish was amazing! Customer service was spectacular! I will come back. Coming in was a little intimidated but once i sat down asked what's good everything just fell into place! The owner is super sweet! Highly recommend at least stopping in!

It is definitely a small hole in the wall and a family owned business. The service was nice and attentive. The food was good and she threw in the burnt rice which we loved. It is a simple menu. The kabob plate comes with tomato, onion and pita bread. Rice is extra. For $9.99 I don't think it's a bad price. I like the Tahiti sauce the best. Parking is free and small.

Omg yum!!! This place is literally a whole in the wall. When the decor is mediocre & the bathroom is questionable, you know the food has to be good! I came on a Monday night and it was very empty. I got the beef and chicken Kabob Koobideh combo with CRISPY RICE and basmati rice. WOWWW the crispy rice! Never had anything like it before. Super yummy. The food is made fresh fresh, so be patient!! The flavor is AMAZING! I loved my plate so much, I ate more than I usually do. Friendly service. Price is great!!! Plenty of parking if you go on a weekday. Can't wait to go back!! Be patient if you order when you get there and don't forget to ring the bell!

On the day we came in to check this place out. I had wanted to order the beef Koobideh but was told night prior there was a party and they had ran out of a lot of items on the menu. Second go to item I wanted to try was their nachos! Sadly not possible either as their taco guy had bounced and they no longer serve tacos or nachos any longer. So already off to a not so good start. :( The owner was kind, apologetic and recommended papa's kebab. We ordered , shish kebab and Papa's falafel. He was right, the Papa's kebab did not disappoint! Juicy, flavorful, served with sides, sauces and 2 pita breads. The shish kebab also tender and served with veggies and sides. Falafels were fresh and VERY tasty. You could taste the fresh herbs. We also ordered as side pickles that were so very tasty! Little container was jammed packed full of pickles, jalapenos, and garlic. Perfect flavor to compliment the entrees. Highly recommend! Inside it's a bit small, I saw a couple of smaller groups leave because of this, so maybe avoid busy times or just order to go. :)
